June 27th

Our Rathbane Ladies Challenge Cup team had a brilliant win last Saturday in Ennis GC where they defeated Tipperary GC. They are now through to the Munster Quarter Finals where they play Ennis GC in Dromoland GC on Sunday 11th July at 2.30p.m. The team as per photo are: L to R: Elaine Donegan, Marion Kennedy (assist. June 6th

June Monthly Medal - 1st Trish Costelloe - 62 nett, 2nd Ann Marie Kilroy - 62 nett. Next week: Foursomes competition. The timesheet is on the notice board.

May 30th

Ladies Club Strokeplay - Congratulations to Ashleigh Leslie who came in first place with a superb round of 61 nett. Ashleigh is now playing off 33! In second place was Marie English with a 64 nett. Next week June Monthly Medal. The timesheet is on the notice board.

Ladies AA Championship - Our Minor Cup Team and Challenge Cup teams were competing in Limerick Golf Club on Saturday. Well done to the minor team who defeated Castletroy and the challenge cup team who defeated Adare. Both teams are now into the third round which will be held in Ennis Golf Club on June 26th. A big thank you to players, caddies, team managers and all the supporters who turned out on the day. Here's to the next round!

May 23rd

Lady Vice Captain's Prize - On a scorching day Trish Costelloe won our Lady Vice Captain Noreen Campbell's Prize with a stunning nett 58. In second place was Kate Jordan with a nett 65. Third place went to Chris Woodland with a nett 66. In fourth place was Lady Captain Marie Batrlett and fifth went to Marie English. The gross prize was won by Shirley Real with a gross score of 76. Longest drive went to Trish Costelloe. Nearest to the pin was Marion Kennedy with a distance of 5 feet! In the 36 handicap category - Elaine Donegan was first and Ashleigh Leslie was 2nd. Well done to everyone in the prizes and a big thank you to the staff on the day. The course was looking great!

May Monthly Medal - 1st: Charlene Conwell - Nett 65, 2nd: Mary Traynor - Nett 67. Well done to Charlene and Mary who have both been playing great golf all year.

Stableford 1st: Chris Woodland - 40 points, 2nd: Ann Marie Kilroy - 37 points.

April 25th

Our first monthly medal of the year was won on count-back by Shirley Real with a nett 64. In second place was Geraldine McNamara with a nett 64.

April 18th

Congratulations to Marie Costelloe and Mary Traynor on winning the Peugeot Coronation Foursomes qualifier with a great score of 45 points. Marie and Mary will now go forward to the regional finals to compete for a place in the finals in Scotland. Well done Ladies.

AA Championship News: Our Minor and Intermediate AA Teams were competing on Saturday in Castletroy. Our Minor Team consisting of Sheila Manning, Marie Costelloe, Michelle Glasheen, Kate Jordan and Marion Kennedy had a great victory over Adare. Unfortunately our intermediate team lost to a very strong Tipperary team. Well done to all who took part. A big thanks to all players, caddies and managers for all their hard work over the last few weeks. Good luck to the Minor and Challenge Cup teams in the second round at the end of May.
